Colombia Monteblanco Geisha

We are excited to introduce a new Geisha coffee from Monteblanco, a farm that continues to impress the world with its vibrant flavors.

This coffee offers a refreshing herbal quality reminiscent of anise, mint, and rosemary, along with a sparkling acidity, like lime and green lemon, that lingers long on the palate. As the temperature changes, the characteristic jasmine-like floral aroma of the Geisha variety slowly unfolds.

This cup embodies the philosophy of the farm owner, Rodrigo Sanchez: "understand the variety and create differences through fermentation."

Producer & Farm Story

Finca Monteblanco is a 14-hectare family farm located in the San Adolfo region of Huila, Colombia. It is managed by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia, his wife Claudia, their daughter Natalia, and the farm manager Don Gerardo.

The farm is situated near the Cueva de los Guácharos National Natural Park and the Suaza River Valley, benefiting from rich biodiversity and ideal environmental conditions for coffee cultivation. Monteblanco is dedicated to producing high-quality coffees, including varieties such as Geisha, Pink Bourbon, Pacamara, and Purple Caturra, and has garnered widespread recognition.

Furthermore, Finca Monteblanco is one of six farms integrated into "Aromas del Sur," a company established by Rodrigo in 2017. The company also operates its own dry mill in Pitalito and continues to pursue quality improvement and innovative initiatives.
